Recent Venture Capital Deals in Real Estate Tech and Proptech

These are the funding events in real estate tech and construction tech we’re watching at Dreamit Urbantech.

  • Patch Homes, which allows consumers to access their home equity with no payments or interest required, raised $5M from Union Square Ventures and Tribe Capital

  • Savvy Lane raised $2M in funding. The product allows users to buy and sell homes without a broker or with a Savvy Lane agent to avoid broker fees.

  • Flat has raised a $4.5M pre-seed round to bring the iBuying trend to Mexico.

  • NodalView raised €1.7 million from venture capital firm Volta Ventures for its product that allows real estate firms to create virtual tours of properties.

  • Civdrone raised $500k from ffVentures. Civdrone is the first autonomous land surveying marking drone on the market. The firm’s device and software work with commercially available drones to survey a jobsite and insert stakes embedded with QR codes into the soil.

  • Coworking startup Knotel raised $400M, putting its valuation at over $1.3 billion.

  • WeWork rival Industrious raised $80M from Brookfield Properties and Equinox.

  • U.K. proptech startup Residently raised $7M in funding from Felix Capital. The startup manages the full apartment rental process for users, from searching, lease signing, furniture packages, and cleaning services.

  • Australian startup Ynomia raised $3.6M from Brick and Mortar Ventures.

  • OpenSpace, which uses helmet-mounted cameras to provide a Google Street View-like experience for projects, raised $14M in Series A funding.

  • Landis raised $15M to change the way people purchase homes. The technology provides a path for people who are denied mortgages to receive a mortgage from the startup.

  • Construction giant Procore is raising an additional $112M at a $3B valuation.

  • Flyhomes raised a $21M Series B round from Canvas Ventures. Its platform allows prospective buyers to make all-cash offers for the homes they want to buy, and also provides mortgage, title, escrow, and home improvement services to those buyers.

  • Modular home startup Blokable raised a $23M Series A from Vulcan Capital.

  • Camber Creek is raising $120M for its newest fund focused on proptech startups.

  • Homee, which provides home services and maintenance services on demand, raised $15M from Forte Ventures, Florida Funders, and others.
