Katie Crotty

Katie Crotty is a combat veteran, business owner, and mother of three. As Praescient Analytic’s Co-Founder and CEO, Katie oversees operations of a big data analytics firm dedicated to supporting intelligence, investigations, and counter-fraud cases for public and private sector clients. She provides the vision for her company, with special attention to nurturing client/partner relationships, and streamlining the implementation of technology and analytic innovations.
In the military, Katie was triple-hatted as the Brigade Fusion Officer-in-Charge, Tier One Special Mission Unit Liaison, and Brigade Strike Force S2 for what was at the time the most technologically advanced Stryker Brigade Combat Team in the United States Army. In previous organizations, Katie served in key leader roles to grow a company from 30 to 150 personnel and from five to 23 contracts over three years. Katie holds a M.A. in Intelligence Studies and B.A. in Foreign Diplomacy, Peace, and Security.
Katie was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for her service in Iraq and has been featured in Washington Exec, Tech BisNow, Executive Leaders Radio, and many more. She is passionate about veteran issues and women in technology, entrepreneurialism, philanthropy, and striving to be a meaningful part of something greater than oneself.
